Flirt with I didn’t get to stay at the Lost and Found

My application to stay in the Lost and Found hotel was unsuccessful. Bummer… (miss_vanity, hopefully you have better luck)

The Lost & Found Hotel Room is open for three months from 1 June to 31 August 2010 and anyone can apply to stay at the hotel room free of charge. I know it sounds pretty unreal but that’s what they offer. If successful, you are able to stay for up to 3-4 nights, and you can bring a guest too!

Stockholm Creator's Inn

This concept is based on Stockholm’s Creators Inn by Swedish clothing label Elvine, design agency Next Century Modern and hotel Scandic Malmen.

Apparently the Lost & Found Hotel provide Aesop products… Well, I’m gonna try my luck again 🙂

Flirt with what a blur day!

Today, was a lil’ unusual then before. I wasn’t sure if it was because the sun came up too early or that the train was actually on time. I felt more tired than usual despite having more than ample amount of sleep. I wore glasses to work.

It was a rather slow and uninteresting morning with no harassment from the clients.

*sms came in*

I received an essay length sms from ynnii on her adventure with the flood. Out of nowhere, wild storms strike upon my office building and our ceiling lights flickered simultaneously with every lash from the wind. The storm was so bad that someone actually got killed.

Seems like the storm somewhat affected the balance of the environment and my slow morning doesn’t seem so slow anymore.

My series of blur-ness

1) thought that I successfully created an automated network page by myself and proudly sent an e-mail to the whole company informing them the new available page only to find out that I screwed up somewhere in step 4 or 5. Result to not able to have my ‘manhattan chic’ lunch with miss vanity and dudes. More like, I didn’t even have lunch

2) accidentally closed the excel sheet instead of the word document resulting to my 7 hours of work somewhat gone.I did not Ctrl + S

3) missed my stop on the tram because my head was somewhere in between ‘what to cook for dinner’ and ‘should I do my laundry tonight’

but the worst of all…. was this!!!

I actually left my house keys at my door this morning. Thank god someone was opening the main door when I got there. I won’t want to pay another $250 again for calling the locksmith.

I think I need a drink!

I love free reads.. And also those fellas who decided to leave their mX at the train station so that other people who somehow always missed their train by a split second could kill their 15 minutes of dreadful wait in the cold and entertain themselves just so they have something else to look at besides the time screen.

Flirt with Sex and the City II

Because I couldn’t find a runway picture of the grey and blue lady dragon shoes, I’ve decided to put ME! Glad I picked this colour coz it’s so easy to match, tho I stil have my eyes on the peach and black heart pair >.<.

These shoes are amazingly soft but its height got me tired around the knees. It’s one of those pairs where I’ll need the full green man when crossing the road.

The difference between a Chinese and Japanese restaurant is that the Japs do take their holidays seriously. Both of our usual Jap places, Shoya and Kenzan, weren’t open because of the Queen E’s birthday so we decided to settle for an alfresco lunch at Ca De Vin.

After a rather slow and ‘oily’ lunch (everythin’ seems to be soaked with oil), we girls took the scenic route passing by Miu Miu, Chloe, Marc Jacobs.. to catch our prolonged movie date!! SEX AND THE CITY 2.

The highlight of this movie is FASHION and Patricia Field never failed to impress me with her work in SATC. I usually dig Carrie’s style but this time around I’m fascinated with all the character’s styles.

Thought the dark queen lace headpiece that Carrie wore was kinda random but I LOVE IT…and it can be made to order for $400!! There are also other outfits, not the same but similar ones from the movie, available in the Patricia Field online store. All illustrations are done by Aaron Potts. He creates greeting cards with world of high fashion runways and exclusive design ateliers..very chic!
