I didn’t bother staying up for the match so I watched the recap to see whats the big hoohaa on Cahill’s red card. I don’t really know much about the rules but it looks like Schweinsteiger kicked the ball and Cahill couldn’t pull his brake and collided into him. With my limited knowledge, I don’t think that would cause a red card, no?
